B&P Lamp Supply was founded in 1954 by Lawson Pauline Barnes. They had a passion for early American antiques. When electricity was becoming popular in the rural towns of Tennessee, Lawson found a way to convert kerosene lamps to electric lamps. With that idea, B&P Lamp Supply was started. The name is from Lawson and Pauline's two sons: Bobby and Paul Barnes.
